The new English class standard points out taht the overall goal 综合一应用能力考试 of the English class in the fundamental education period is cultivation of the syudents' general lanauage capacity. General lanauage capacity bases on comprehensive ability of the following five elements: language skills, language knowledge, attitudes, learning strategies and cultural awareness. Based on the above understanding, the analysis of the teaching content and the characteristics of the teaching material, I identify my teaching goals as:
(1)Cognitional Goal
The using of the following sentence patterns: How are you? Fine, thank you. / Not bad, thank you. Not so good. I’m sorry.
(2) Ability Goal
Students can answer questions skillfully and carry on conversation.
(3)Emotional Goal
